Simpson Cup – Round 4 Recap
The 4th round of the Simpson Cup saw our Southern team face off against Grange at Royal Adelaide on March 9th in warm conditions. While hopes were high for a victory, the result didn’t go our way, with the team battling hard but ultimately going down 1-6.
A standout performance came from Jared Thoman, who played a near-flawless round to secure a 3/1 win. Cooper Hoppo continued to impress, making it to the 18th hole once again, but narrowly missed out this time despite his strong form and composure.
Although a few matches slipped away late in the day, the team remains positive and determined. All focus now shifts to the critical Round 5 clash against Thaxted Park at Glenelg—an important game in the fight to avoid relegation.
