It was a wonderful golfing experience for our Southern Women’s Team playing at RAGC today for the fourth round of the Sanderson Cup (Metro Pennant). In very cold conditions at 8am this morning the team had very strong opponents in Kooyonga but all performed very well and competitively to go down 1/4.
We were very proud and happy for our No1. player, Bec Fry, from South Lakes who won her first match this year 2/1 against an opponent on a +2 Handicap. Bec played a great exhibition of golf having hitting only 1 over the card. The remaining four all played well and fought hard.
